For 30+ years the Mayfield family has been in the business of making Petersburg pretty. In 1982 Carolyn’s House of Beauty was established by Carolyn Mayfield. All four of Carolyn’s daughters and now granddaughter have followed in her cosmetology footsteps. Karen Harris (Mayfield) established Karen’s House of Beauty in 1993, and Michelle Edwards, Expressions Hair Studio. Each of these salons has been a staple in the local community, well known for their hospitality and ability to make each client feel like family. Nicole’s House of Beauty is owned by Nicole Harris, daughter of Karen, and Granddaughter of Carolyn. Nicole’s House of Beauty brings family tradition into the new generation with a twist; offering esthetics, massage therapy, manicures and pedicures.
